BEIGE V-NECK DRESS

BEIGE V-NECK DRESS

600.00

A dress that tells a story and pays homage to the women of the suffrage movement. It has been said that they birthed surveillance photography in the early 1900’s when they refused to have their portrait taken upon incarceration. This was a time before mandatory mugshots, and so the government hired private photographers to snap their pictures in the prison yard. The faces of these women could be found throughout this tan dress, along with blurred out faces screenshot from Google Earth Street view.

Size Small-Medium. One of a kind

Made in Detroit using locally sourced reclaimed garment and fabrics.
